Deltavista is a data management and brokering company headquartered in
Switzerland. Its innovative search technology manages customer data
as active capital and opens up new dimensions in address and risk
management.
The company is a solution provider to large European corporations
(mainly in financial and telecommunication sectors) and operates in
Switzerland, Germany, Austria, and Poland.

Currently we seek a candidate for the position of Software Engineer in
our Development Center in Krakow, Poland. This is a full-time
permanent position (”umowa o prace”).

Requirements:
Solid understanding of computer science and its mathematical
foundations, especially the following:
- algorithms and data structures
- relational data modeling and databases
- programming languages
Excellent communication skills
Willingness to work in a team
Willingness to learn
Commitment to development of high quality software

Masters degree in computer science or closely related field
Good English (written and spoken)
1-2 year experience working in a team on commercial software
Some experience in at least one object-oriented programming language,
RDBMS, testing tool, IDE, SCM tool

Duties and responsibilities:

Design and development of core Deltavista libraries and products including:
- search engines
- data indexing
- semantic comparison of data
Refactoring and optimization of existing algorithms and implementations
Unit testing, preparing high level test scenarios and cases
Support of existing libraries and products
