Cracow Grid Workshop 2006

Już po raz szósty w dniach 15-16 października odbędzie się Cracow Grid Workshop. Celem tego międzynarodowego zebrania jest wsparcie społeczności badaczy, deweloperów oraz użytkowników technologii grid. Co cieszy, z roku na rok ranga wydarzenia zdaje się rosnąć i przyciąga ono coraz ciekawszych mówców z całego świata.

W tym roku będzie można posłuchać między innymi takich tuzów świata gridowego jak Fabrizio Gagliardi (z którym IT w Krakowie przeprowadziło wywiad), Wolfgang Gentzsch (na którego wykład mieliśmy okazję niedawno zapraszać), Carl Kesselman czy Dieter Kranzlmueller.

The Cracow Grid Workshop will cover:
- current advances in grid systems and grid applications,
- overview of the main European and national grid projects,
- tutorial.

At the CGW’06 the Central European Grid Consortium will meet for the 4th time. The CGW’06 dinner will be (on October 17, 2006) at the famous Salt Mine in Wieliczka, so send the abstract before your holiday and register ASAP.

Papers and Proceedings

A presentation will be accepted on the basis of an abstract which should:
- contain the title, authors and their affiliations,
- be ASCII text, from 40 to 50 lines,
- be sent to cgw06@cyfronet.krakow.pl .

Proceedings of the CGW’06 will be traditionally printed after the event; papers will be accepted for proceedings on the basis of evaluation of presentation and the review of full papers.
